On June 21, 2005 a formal Affiliation Agreement between Camosun College and the Songhees Nation was negotiated to work together to enhance learning opportunities for local First Nations learners.
The agreement means that the college has the formal opportunity to jointly develop proposals, programs, services and curriculum in collaboration with the Indigenous people of the land on which Victoria and Camosun are built.
