Sherri Bell, former superintendent for the Greater Victoria School District, was appointed Camosun’s sixth president, July 1, 2015. Sherri brings with her a national reputation for stewarding student achievement and a focus on the delivery of exceptional education.
Throughout her career, Sherri has focused on engaging students in learning to find their passion and make a difference in their community and the world. Sherri believes colleges should be nimble and prepared to continually respond to opportunities that reflect our changing world.
President Bell is also the Board Chair of the British Columbia Council for International Education (BCCIE), is Chair of British Columbia Colleges (BCC), is Vice-Chair of the Trades Training Consortium BC (TTCBC), and is a member of the Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) Board.
