Camosun Indigenous Alumni Forum: Lives Well Lived

Friday, Nov. 26, 2021 | 1 to 3:30pm

The Alex & Jo Campbell Centre for Health and Wellness
Interurban Campus, Camosun College

Eyēʔ Sqȃ’lewen, the Centre for Indigenous Education and Community Connections at Camosun College, presents Lives Well Lived, an insightful conversation featuring 10 exceptional Eyēʔ Sqȃ’lewen alumni sharing their life experiences since graduating from Camosun.

Moderated by television personality, singer and former Saulteau First Nation Chief Art Napoleon, the gathering explores the personal perspectives, careers and journeys of each panelist since their college studies over the past five decades.

With “good heart, good mind and good feelings,” the event is presented as part of the college’s 50th anniversary celebrations and the 30th anniversary of Eyēʔ Sqȃ’lewen.

Camosun students, employees and the community can share in the learning experience either in person or by watching it live-streamed on Camosun’s YouTube channel.

  1. Congratulations to Camosun on 50 years! I received Certification in the then, Indigenous Family Support and Mental Health/Addiction as a mature student. I have always been an advocate for the college and continued learning. I love Camosun!! I would have attended; didn’t see the event posted. Carol Hartman
